We have a Weber Genesis II S-435 grill on the deck for your use. This has 4 main burners and a side burner.
Starting the Grill
- First make sure the regulator on the propane tank is turned to the open position.
- Find the knob for the burner you want to turn on and turn it to the position on the left with the lighting bolt:

- While it is in this position, hit the starter button (on the left side of the picture above). This should ignite the flame. You will hear the "whoosh" of the flame.
- Then turn the knob to the heat position you want.
- Repeat this for each of the burners you want turned on. Note: Unlike some grills, burners next to each other won't automatically ignite from their neighbors' flames. You need to manually ignite each.
For more information, see the Weber manual.
Turning off the grill
- Turn each of the burner controls into the off position (pointing to the top)
- Close the regulator on the propane tank.
- After the grill has cooled down, put the cover on again.
